Annotation
This instruction applies where a filament head is replaced by an LED head without prior design and when an LED SL35 module is installed in a BR903 signal head controlled from an SSI or relay installation.
Purpose
The LED signal head has been designed as a direct replacement of a conventional filament head and the LED SL35 module has been designed as a like for like replacement of the SL35 filament lamp in a BR903 signal head. In most cases there is no need to alter the fixed wiring when installing a LED head or the LED SL35 module, however if the signal is capable of displaying a flashing aspect then an alteration is required.
