N NR/L2/TRK/053/MOD02 ISSUE 1
Annotation
This module of NR/L2/TRK/053 covers:
a) identification of facing switch derailment hazards
b) arrangements for planning and undertaking detailed inspections of switches
c) reporting of inspections completed and defects found
d) permitted substitution and delegation of inspections.
This module does not cover:
a) frequencies for Basic Visual Inspections, Section Manager (Track) Inspections and Track Maintenance Engineer inspections (see NR/L2/TRK/001/mod02)
b) how to complete a detailed inspection (see NR/L2/TRK/053/mod03)
c) repair of defects (see NR/L2/TRK/053/mod04)
