Diese Fachgrundnorm gilt in Verbindung mit der jeweiligen Bauartnorm fur Erdungsmaterial, im weiteren Produkte genannt
In der Fachgrundnorm sind die allgemeinen Anforderungen und Bestimmungen festgelegt. Sie enthalt Angaben zu technischen Anforderungen und Prufbedingungen gleichbleibender Art, d. h. Eigenschaften und Bestimmungen, die fur die genannten Produkte zutreffen, sowie allgemeine Durchfuhrungsbestimmungen, Fragen der Verbindlichkeit, Patentrecht u. a.
Die Bauartnorm legt die speziellen technischen Anforderungen und die Prufungen fur das jeweilige Produkt fest.
Weichen die Angaben der Bauartnorm von denen der Fachgrundnorm ab, so gelten die Angaben der Bauartnorm.
