Annotation

This Standard specifies the requirements for screw and plain washer assemblies of flat seating head made of steel with the property class of up to and including 10.9, the thread ofM2 to M12, and the washer hardness class of 200 HV or 300 HV.

Plain washers shall be prevented from disassembly and free to rotate after assembling.

NOTE 1: In manufacturing of the screw and washer assemblies, to fulfil the requirements of the screw and washer assemblies, not only the assembling process of components but also the materials and the manufacturing method of the thread blank and the washer should be considered (see Annex A).

NOTE 2: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
