Вместе с тем эта норма отличается в ее цели от норм германский промышленный стандарт 38402-41 и германский промышленный стандарт 38402-42, которые служат для добычи количественных высказываний о надежности процесса анализов.
В этой норме требования к проведению попыток кольца к профессиональной экспертизе лабораторий вкладываются, в частности, в водном исследовании, канализационном исследовании и исследовании тины, если они выходят за требования EN германского промышленного стандарта ИЗО / IEC 17 043.
Требования ИЗО ГЕРМАНСКОГО ПРОМЫШЛЕННОГО СТАНДАРТА 13 528 относительно применяемой статистики уточняются для области применения этой нормы. Эта норма может применяться тогда, когда определяемые в попытке кольца параметры могут рассматриваться по меньшей мере способом аппроксимации как непрерывно квантифицируемые. Это - как правило, и т.п. при химических, физических и физически-химических параметрах случай.
