Annotation

This Standard specifies the materials, manufacturing details and test requirements for cases, wood, collapsible, reusable used for the packaging of Service equipment up to 200 kg mass of contents. Three types of container construction are included in this standard:

a) Type 1 - Wire-bound

b) Type 2 - Metal Edged

c) Type 3 - Clip Fastened Note: Some of the Styles referenced in BS 1133-8 are referred to there as semi-collapsible.

It includes the use of Plywood, Oriented Strand Board (OSB) or Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) for construction purposes.
