Coverage.This specification covers dimensional and marking requirements on V-belts and V-belt sheaves. Aiso included are recommended practices for power application of V-belts, recommended practices for care and use of V-belts, recommended practices for measuring tension in V-belt drives, ana recommended practices for calculation of load imposed by a V-belt drive on shafts and bearings. As used in this specification the word V-belt refers to endless V-belta
