Annotation
This User's Manual describes the use of the API sponsored computer program API14B for SSCSV sizing. This program is not represented as the exclusive method of sizing SSCSVs; however, it is a method recommended by the API and is based on published or industry accepted assumptions, correlations, and calculations. The assumptions, calculations, and correlations are described to aid the user in evaluating the suitability of the program for specific applications. Provisions have been made for updating and revising the computer program. Improved methods and correlations will be included in the program at the discretion of the API OSAPE Committee.
