Annotation
This standard defines the requirements for safe working practices, inspection and maintenance regimes, routine testing, defect and fault management of the following signalling power distribution equipment on Network Rail managed Infrastructure:

Signalling power distribution equipment above 175 V in equipment housings including FSPs, location cases, relay rooms, REBs, power pillars, etc.

Signalling Power distribution supply cabling
-
Insulation Monitoring equipment on signal power supplies above 175 V
-
Interrupter cabling
-
Temporary protective measures
-
Electronic Protection Relays installed on signalling power supplies above 175 V
-
Distribution Interface Transformer Assembly (DITA) equipment
-
650V portable generation equipment.
The safety requirements apply to any individual involved in working on or near signalling power distribution equipment above 175 V.
