Annotation
This specification mandates the use of Signal Maintenance Specifications (SMS).
An associated specification NR/L2/SIG/10661 contains the maintenance task intervals and NR/L2/SIG/10662 details the process to be followed to support changes to those intervals and for revisions to the SMSs themselves.
The SMSs are contained in NR/L3/SIG/10663.
Purpose
This specification mandates the use of the "Signal Maintenance Specifications" and introduces the series.
