Annotation
This standard deals with work associated with the installation of pipework for gas, water and drainage services inside buildings and other structures.
This standard does not cover: underground drainage (see DIN 18306), the laying of pressure pipework outside buildings (see DIN 18307).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18381 shall take precedence.
