Annotation

This standard deals with work to preserve and repair plain or reinforced concrete structures and elements, including surface protection systems.

This standard does not cover:

— the construction of components made of plain or reinforced concrete which is applied by spraying (see DIN 18314),

— the construction of concrete elements or units (see DIN 18331), or

— the surface treatment of structures and elements (see DIN 18363).

DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18349 shall take precedence.
