Annotation
This standard applies to block type connectors used to connect round steel link chains with the same pitch according to DIN 22252 and flat link chains with the same pitch according to DIN 22255.
Block type connectors can only pass over chain sprockets according to DIN 22256 in vertical position. It is therefore essential to observe the position of the block type connectors during installation.
Block type connectors according to this standard shall not be used as lifting accessories, slings or loadbearing devices within the meaning of DIN 15003.
