Annotation
This standard applies to all suppliers who wish to become a registered Approved Network Rail Supplier for medical assessment and/or drug and alcohol screening.
Purpose
This document details the minimum requirements for suppliers to administer medical assessments and drugs and alcohol screening to allow for registration as an Approved Network Rail Supplier. It also details the required certification.
The standard is designed to support the achievement of safe, appropriate and effective quality services by a Supplier who wishes to become a registered Approved Network Rail Supplier for medical assessment and/or drug and alcohol screening for the railway infrastructure.
