Form
This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings 10 inches (254 mm) and under in least nominal cross-sectional dimension, and stock of any size for forging or flash welded rings (see 8.5)
Application
These products have been used typically for rotating and structural parts requiring high strength at cryogenic temperatures and for short-time service up to 1000 °F (538 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 °F (982 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications
