Annotation

These requirements cover burglary-resistant safes classified as follows: 6 Tested on Six Sides:

(i) Residential Safe;

(ii) Tool Resistant Safe - Class TL-15X6;

(iii) Tool Resistant Safe - Class TL-30X6;

(iv) Torch and Tool Resistant Safe - Class TRTL-15X6;

(v) Torch and Tool Resistant Safe - Class TRTL-30X6; and

(vi) Torch and Tool Resistant Safe - Class TRTL-60X6. A Tested on Side Containing the Door:

(i) Tool Resistant Safe - Class TL-l5;

(ii) Tool Resistant Safe - Class TL-30;

(iii) Torch and Tool Resistant Safe - Class TRT1 -15; and

(1v) Torch and Tool Resistant Safe - Class TRTI. -30. IAA

At the manufacturer's option, a suffix 'D' may be used in any of the classes in Clause 1.1-A to denote a safe with a deposit mechanism which has been subjected to the full test for the class. An 'E' suffix may be used in any of the classes in Clause 1.1 - 6 to denote a safe which has been tested for explosive resistance.
