This test method establishes the classification and testing of cord as a component material used in the fashioning of bowstrings.

This test method is not intended to provide information beyond any evaluation of the cord material that would determine its fitness for use other than in the fabrication of completed bowstrings.

This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
