Annotation
This Standard specifies shelves and racks (hereafter referred to as shelves), excluding home shelves and industrial racks specified in JIS Z 0620.
Shelves herein refer to those composed mainly of the columns, shelf boards and shelf supports. They can be free-standing, disassembled and reassembled, to be used for storing books, stationary and business supplies.
