Annotation

This Standard specifies procedures for the calibration and verification of the IRHD dead-load instruments (JIS K 6253-2), durometers (JIS K 6253-3) and IRHD pocket meters (JIS K 6253-4).

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 18898: 2006 Rubber-Calibration and verification of hardness testers (MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
