Annotation
This guide covers the removal of test specimens from spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing systems in the field for the purpose of examination of an existing system and/or quality assurance for new installations. It describes the types and purposes of sample cuts, visual inspection techniques, laboratory physical property tests, and repair of the core and slit sample holes.
The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.
