Annotation

This Standard specifies the silvered, flat-glass mirror used for manufacture of a glass mirror (hereafter referred to as "silvered glass mirror"). This Standard is not applicable to silvered glass mirror for external glazing applications.

Silvered glass mirror covered by this Standard is not intended for use in corrosive environments where high humidity or airborne corrosion promoters, or both, are consistently present.

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 25537 : 2008 Glass in building-Silverect flat-glass mirror (MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISOIIEC Guide 21-1.
