This practice provides for the separation and identification of monomeric plasticizers in poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) compounds by gas chromatography (GC).

The text of this practice references notes and footnotes which provide explanatory material. These notes and footnotes (excluding those in Tables and Figures) shall not be considered as requirements of this standard.

Test Method D2124 is an alternative infrared procedure.
