Annotation
This test method covers the determination of the water soluble content of (unused) granular and powdered activated carbons. Water solubles are materials that can be extracted by distilled water under reflux conditions and are expressed as a percentage of dry carbon weight.
The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
