Эта норма считается для контейнера для свободных и порошкообразных грузов в форме гранулята согласно VO (угрожай) номер 178/2002 [1] с целью изготовлению продуктов, которые транспортируются незапаковано (в следующем тексте как продукты указано), и вкладывает требования к техническому свойству, т.е. материалы и поверхности, а также конструктивные признаки контейнеров для продуктов. Она вкладывает требования, которые требуются при планировании и конструкции новых контейнеров продуктов по причинам гигиены питания. В дальнейшем проверочные пункты вкладываются в этой норме для оценки контейнеров продуктов в рамках техобслуживания и ремонта, которые нужно переоценивать в уже в употреблении находящихся контейнерах под аспектом гигиены. Кроме того, норма вкладывает требования к характеристике, удостоверению эксплуатации, а также в определение контейнеров продуктов.
