Annotation

This Standard describes the performance requirements for non-metallic fuel tanks used in earth- moving machinery as defined in JIS A 8308.

NOTE 1 This Standard specifies performance requirements with regard to the safety of non-metallic fuel tanks to confirm the safety for the earth-moving machinery and is not intended to be used for conducting the conformity assessment by itself.

NOTE 2 The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as follows.

ISO 21507:2005 Earth-moving machinery-Performance requirements for non-metallic fuel tanks (IDT).

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21.
