Annotation
This Standard is a sectional specification associated with generic specification JIS C 5101-1 and applies to aluminium electrolytic capacitors with solid (Mn02) and nonsolid electrolyte primarily intended for d.c. applications for use in electronic equipment.
It covers capacitors for long-life applications and capacitors for general-purpose applica tions.
Capacitors for fixed surface mount aluminium electrolytic capacitors with solid (MnO2) and non-solid electrolyte are not included but they are covered by JIS C 5101-18.
For capacitors for special-purpose applications, additional performance requirements may be listed when they are considered necessary to specify adequately for the application purposes.
