Long goods are rod materials whose length generally exceeds 2 m. The individual weights and dimensions, which can vary greatly, determine the storage location, the type of storage and the choice of conveying and lifting means.

This guideline is aimed at providing an overview of practically tested methods of long goods storage and the necessary handling and conveyance technology.
