Annotation
This Standard specifies dimensions, mechanical requirements, transmission requirements, environmental requirements and testing methods thereof of the silica glass single-mode optical fibers for the core and cladding of which silica glass is used.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
IEC 60793-2-50 : 2008 Optical fibres - Part 2-50 : Product specifications - Sectional specification for class B single-mode fibres (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
