Annotation
This part of I EC 62271 i s applicable t o a.c. series c apacitor by-pass switches designed f or outdoor installation and for operation at f requencies of 5 0 Hz and 60 Hz on s ystems h aving voltages above 52 kV.
It is only applicable to by-pass switches for use in three-phase systems.
This s tandard is also applicable to the operating devices of b y-pass switches and to t heir auxiliary equipment.
