Annotation
Scope and field of application
The tolerances specified in this standard ensure performance and interchangeability of components and bearings of radial rolling bearings. They do not, however, allow any direct conclusions to be drawn in respect of the runout tolerances.
The tolerances specified apply to radial rolling bearings covered in the dimension standards for rolling bearings, not, however, to radial rolling bearings for use in the aircraft industry, tolerances for such bearings being specified in separate standards.
As compared with ISO 492 - 1986, this standard does not specify tolerances for the outer ring flange;
