Annotation

This Standard defines and classifies visual surface imperfections (hereafter referred to as "imperfections") of rotary shaft lip-type seals incorporating elastomeric sealing elements (hereafter referred to as "seals").

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:

ISO 6194-5: 2008 Rotary-shaft lip-type seals incorporating elastomeric sealing elements-Part 5: Identification of visual imperfections (IDT)

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21-1.
