Annotation

This Standard specifies the characteristics of plain washers made of steel (hereafter referred to as "washers") in small, normal and large series of product grade A with hardness classes 200 HV and 300 HV used for the screw and washer assemblies made of steel with plain washers specified in JIS B 1130.

NOTE 1: Washers assembled into the the screw and washer assemblies can be manufactured under the conditions of clause 6.

NOTE 2: In manufacturing, to fulfil the requirements of the screw and washer assemblies, not only the assembling process of components but also the materials and the manufacturing method of the thread blank and the washer should be considered (see Annex A of JIS B 1130).

NOTE 3: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
