This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the design calculating formulas and the procedures of decision of specifications for metallic flat springs (hereafter referred to as "flat spring") except springs in the other product standards of Japanese Industrial Standards (coned disc springs, retaining rings, spring washers and spring pins).
