Annotation
This Standard specifies the thread run-out for external threaded fasteners having threads in accordance with ISO general purpose metric screw threads in JIS B 0205-2 and JIS B 0205-3.
It does not apply to those threads fasteners where special requirements are laid down in the product standards.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:
ISO 3508: 1976 Thread run-outs fasteners with thread in accordance with ISO 261 and ISO 262 (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT(identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21.
