Annotation
This Standard establishes the procedures for measurIng, by means of electronic measuring instruments, the electrical characteristics of ultrasonic test instruments that are equipped with a manually operated display unit using the pulse-echo technIque.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 12710 : 2002 Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic inspection - Evaluating electronic characteristics of ultrasonic test instruments (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents in the corresponding International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified) and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
