Annotation
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies a tolerance system for ISO metric trapezoidal screw threads (Tr) specified in JIS B 0216-2.
The limit of size according to this Standard does not apply to trapezoidal screw threads with special requirements on axial displacement, for example, lead screws.
NOTE 1 The trapezoidal screw threads specified in JIS B 0216-2 shall have the basic profiles and the maximum material profiles according to JIS B 0216-1.
NOTE 2 This Standard specifies the limit of size and the tolerance for singlestart metric trapezoidal screw threads of N in length of thread engagement according to JIS B 0216-3 and JIS B 0217-1.
