Annotation

The aim of the present guideline is, with regard to the state of the art, to standardize the requirements which are relevant to the companies affected and in addition to make a contribution to deregulation. The guideline is directed at operators, planners, plant constructors, the relevant government agencies as well as third parties within the sphere of influence of the facilities and equipment of scrapyards. The following requirements form the basis for planning, constructing, operating and monitoring scrapyards. The guideline describes the state of the art as regards approval and implementation.
