This standard defines the names of parts/assemblies for Isuzu products, set by Isuzu's engineering departments/sections/groups,

Remarks: Part names created according to this standard, shall be in English. As for part names to be used in general documents, not directly related to parts control, the names used in JASO/JIS or those publicly known, shall be used unless otherwise agreed.

PURPOSE

This standard is established in order to make identical, the part names, electronically controlled by Isuzu Motors and its related companies, based on the principle of one function/one name. It shall be used as a tool to categorize and manage the parts and also to convey the concept and function of each part correctly.
