This module describes the introduction and management of the PLPR system.
This module covers:-

Management of live PLPR.

Introduction of the PLPR process to sites.
This applies to all persons involved in the; acquisition, processing, distribution and management of PLPR data.
Purpose
This module of NR/L3/TRK/1015 covers the introduction and operation of Plain Line Pattern Recognition (PLPR), on continuous welded rail (CWR) sites, to safely and efficiently replace the requirement to undertake Basic Visual Inspection.
