Annotation
This Standard specifies the high speed tool steels (hereafter referred to as "tool steels") manufactured by hot-rolling or forging.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 4957 : 1999 Tool steels (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard andJIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
