Annotation
This standard deals with the corrosion protection of steel structures/components for which a structural analysis or a technical approval is required. It also deals with corrosion protection by coating, hot dip galvanizing and thermal spraying of metals on steel components and in combination with structural fire protection using fire protection coatings.
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18364 shall take precedence.
