Dieser Teil von IEC 60393 gilt fur drahtgewickelte und nichtdrahtgewickelte Trimmpotentiometer mit Einstellung durch Gewindespindel oder durch direktes Drehen zur Verwendung in Geraten der Elektronik. Diese Potentiometer sind hauptsachlich fur den Einsatz in Schaltungen zu Abgleichzwecken, die nur eine gelegentliche Einstellung erfordern, vorgesehen.
