Annotation
This Standard specifies the characteristics of steel and martensitic stainless steel self drilling tapping screws.
NOTE 1 Steel and martensitic stainless steel self drilling tapping screws specified in this Standard are hereafter referred to as "steel self drilling tapping screws" and "stainless steel self drilling tapping screws", respectively, and generically referred to as "self drilling tapping screws".
NOTE 2 The self drilling tapping screws shall have a gimlet point.
