Annotation
Dieser Teil der IEC 61966 legt das Metadaten-Format fur Farbumfange fur Videosysteme zur Anwendung in Geraten fur Endverbraucher. Die in diesem Teil der IEC 61966 beschriebenen Metadaten sind begrenzt auf die Beschreibung des Farbumfangs von Anzeigen mit drei additiven Primarfarben, deren wei?e und schwarze Punkte denselben Farbwert besitzen. Dies basiert grundsatzlich auf dem konventionellen Format VESA-EDID.
Wenn mit einem Inhalt verknupft, beschreibt das einfache Metadaten-Format den Farbumfang, fur den der Inhalt erstellt wurde. Es kann zur geordneten Farbwiedergabe verwendet werden, selbst wenn der Farbumfang der Anzeige unterschiedlich zu dem des Inhaltes ist.
Wenn mit einer Anzeige verknupft, beschreibt das einfache Metadaten-Format den Farbumfang der Anzeige. Es kann bei der Erzeugung des Inhaltes verwendet werden, um eine verbesserte Farbwiedergabe zu ermoglichen.
Diese Norm bietet die einfachste eindeutige Losung fur typische Endverbraucher-Gerate, die auf Kommunikation zum Farbumfang basieren.
