Annotation

This Standard specifies the roller chains and bush chains used for transmission in general (hereafter referred to as "chains").

The associated chain sprockets and attachments are detailed in Annex A and Annex B.

NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:

ISO 606 : 2004 Short-pitch transmission precision roller and bush chains, attachments and associated chain sprockets (MOD)

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21.
