Annotation
The requirements of this chapter are considered to meet the requirements of the international code for the construction and equipment of ships carrying dangerous chemicals in bulk (IBC code) and MARPOL 73/78 Annex II.
Machinery installations and their auxiliary systems that support cargo handling shall meet the same rule requirements as if they were considered to support a main function: ref. Pt.1 Ch.1 Sec.1 [2.1].
