This specification covers a group of general requirements that, unless otherwise specified in the purchase order or in an individual specification, shall apply to rolled nickel and nickel alloy plate, sheet, and strip, under each of the following specifications issued by ASTM: Specifications B 127, B 162, B 168, B 333, B 409, B 424, B 434, B 435, B 443, B 463, B 536, B 575, B 582, B 599, B 620, B 625, B 670, B 688, B 709, B 718, B 755, B 814, B 818, B 872.

In case of any conflicting requirements, the requirements of the purchase order, the individual material specification, and this general specification shall prevail in the sequence named.

The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
