This specification covers the pipe materials and dimensions for producing non-reinforced extruded tee connections manufactured by mechanical forming processes. The term "extruded tee connection" applies to butt-weld or socket-weld connections. This specification refers to the forming process that leads to welding or brazing.
The non-reinforced extruded pipe tee connection is an alternative to the tee fittings, nozzle, and other welded connections.
