Annotation
This standard covers the pavement of roads of any type, including paved open spaces, air fields, courtyards, railway platforms and track systems placed on concrete roadbases and slabs.
This standard does not deal with the strengthening or amelioration of the subgrade.
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18316 shall take precedence.
