Annotation

This practice covers routine testing of scanning Raman spectrometer performance and to assist in locating problems when performance has degraded. It is also intended as a guide for obtaining and reporting Raman spectra.

The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.

This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Because of the significant dangers associated with the use of lasers, ANSI Z136.1 should be followed in conjunction with this practice.
